What I know about Reciprocal Linking is that it helps you in SEO (Search Engine Optimization) and it helps me in SEO.  Why?  It's one of the criterias search engines go by when figuring how popular a website is and thus how far up the chain it should be in it's listing.  Another way to get a good listing is to pay them.  Personally, I prefer prefer reciprocal linking.  So get your link out there.  Post to blogs.  Post to forums.  make as many websites, however small or large as possible--even free ones--as possible.  Do your postings to free classifieds such as the ones given in my Marketing section.  Just get your links out there. So go go go.  It's a race to the top out there.  The competition is fierce and furious, but it's acheivable by all and the only skill involved is the knowledge of what to do.
