1. Is there a minimum time contract/commitment?
 
No. You just pay monthly. You can cancel at any time.
2. How soon will my account be set up and ready for use?
 
You should receive your welcome e-mail shortly after signing-up. Generally a few hours, with a maximum of 24 hours.

Your site can be uploaded to our servers immediately after receiving the welcome email, which will contain the IP address for your account, plus the username and password.


3.  Do I have access to update my site 24 hours a day?
Yes, access is provided 24 hours a day.


4. Do you offer a money back guarantee?

But of course. During your first thirty days, if you find you are not completely satisfied, your full month will be refunded and your account deleted.

Any month after that, if you cancel your account, only that month will be refunded.


5. Do you host Adult sites, warez sites or sites containing illegal material?
No. Absolutely not. Please refer to our Terms FAQ for complete details.

6. Why don't you offer "unlimited bandwidth"?

There's really no such thing as unlimited bandwidth. Someone has to pay for the traffic.

If you check the fine print of the service agreements from companies who claim to offer unlimited bandwidth, you'll most like find that they do charge for traffic over a certain amount.

7.  What are your server specifications?
Maxi Website Hosting uses Cisco and Intel switches, routers, and other networking equipment. Redundant components are used to ensure up-time and minimize failure. Multi-gig fiber ring delivers your traffic out to one of our two national backbone providers, UUNet and Level 3, which we have dual gig connections to each. This topology provides the ability to scale our bandwidth well beyond the limits of a traditional OC-12.

8. Do you have an Uptime Guarantee?
 
Maxi Website Hosting guarantees network availability of 99.9999% in a given month, excluding scheduled maintenance. Network is considered unavailable if there is a 100% packet loss from Maxi Website Hosting to its backbone providers. We will refund customers 5% of the monthly fee for each additional hour of downtime (up to 100% of customer's monthly fee). Network infrastructure is all equipment, from the cable connected to the server's NIC to the backbone provider, and includes routers, switches and cabling. Downtime is measured past 10 minutes after notification of network failure, via the ticketing system. Maxi Website Hosting personnel will determine end of downtime by a traceroute to the customer's machine from outside ResellerSpace.

9. Do you provide 24 hour support?
We try our best to accomodate all of our world-wide customers. We realize that even though it may be midnight here, it's only noon somewhere else in the world.

We are, admittedly, a small company. Our technical staff normally answers support issues, submitted through our Help Desk, within a maximum of a few hours (worst case).
