Today I concentrated on learning about Google Adsense.

I didn't want to add Google Adsense to http://www.maxiwebsitehosting.com because Google has a way of matching ads to content.

That means putting ads for other web hosting sites on my site. That makes no sense to me. So how best to learn so I can help others? Make a site that wouldn't interfere with what I put on it. I made it article rich. Since I love to write that's no problem. What to write about could be a problem. Okay, from what I understood it had to be a nicely written content oriented keyword rich site on a subject people are interested in. Okay. Find popular keywords and write about it. If you don't know anything about the topic learn something about it. You don't have to be an expert. You just want to get people to your site so they could click on the Google ad so you can get paid.

Google Adsense won't work unless you have Search Engine Optimization as well. How do you get that? Good linking and RSS feed. So now I'm reading up on RSS feed.

I suggest you read some of those eBooks floating around the web for free, (I have one that's half eBook, half video), and subscribe to my newsletter. If you listen to the free seminars about this subject you'll find a lot of talk, but nothing much being said. If you listen to enough seminars, read enough books, go on enough forums, you'll be able to figure it out without paying for it. If worse comes to worse, you can pay someone to help you. Google Adsense is the easiest way to make money. Write an article, put the Google code on the site, (you only need to have one account with Google no matter how many websites you have), get traffic to your site and let people visit and click away.

Today I learned that Keyword feed programs are becoming old hat to the search engines and the new method is article publishing. That's fine with me, but for most people that could be a problem. Keyword feed programs are still a viable and excellent tool for SEO and by all means continue to use it as a tool, but combine it with article publishing. I havn't delved too much into this topic, but you bet your bippy I will be and will, (you got that right), do an article on that topic.

In the meantime, I am very excited to tell you I'm going to the Internet Marketing conference in New York City on October 1 and 2. I have to go. I just happen to have a free hotel stay for that weekend in the same neighborhood as well. The conference is free, the hotel is free and I already live a train ride away, (so the free hotel will just save me a back and forth ride). This will give me a lot of content writing I'm sure.
